Aircrafts used by Air India. . .

I have just tried to give it a shot by tring to find the different (Two types) livery used by Airlines since start in 1932.

Also I have attempted to include the pictures of all possible aircrafts that Air India has used, so here they are.
Boeing 777-222 Extended Range
(Currently this model are all leased, the airline awaits for its brand new frame around the end of 2006)
----------------------------------------------
McDonald Douglas DC-8
This series of aircraft was used by AirIndia till 1996, under a seperate Cargo Division. Now the Cargo divn has been integrated with the main line commercial divn. And cargo is handled thru the passanger aircrafts.
-----------------------------------------------
Airbus A310 - 300
Now this model is a strong support to the South East Asia and Middle East markets.
This model of aircraft is mainly leased by Air India from Singapore Airlines.
This model is going to be replaced from 2009 by Boeing B787 series airframes.
-------------------------------------------------
Boeing 707 - 200/300 & 400 series
-----------------------------------------------
Airbus 300B4 (2 flying crew)
Air India owned 3 of this series and they were gifted to the Govt of Afghanistan as a goodwill gesture.
------------------------------------------------
Boeing 747 - 100/200/300 & 400
The mainline aircraft for this airlines and is the largest in the fleet.
Note this different livery, although this was very shortlived, the airline did not use this for long nor they had aplied it all their fleet. So in about 4 years, the old livery came back.
Old livery is very attractive and impressive.

Lockheed TriStar 500
